Day by day
- Days 1–2
Nairobi
National Park, Karura and the city dams to open the list.
- Days 3–6
The coast
Arabuko-Sokoke, Mida Creek, Sabaki and a day at Shimba Hills.
- Days 7–9
Central Highlands
Mount Kenya's forest belt, the Aberdare moorland, the Kinangop tussock for Sharpe's Longclaw, and the Mukurweini gullies for Hinde's Babbler.
- Days 10–12
Rift Valley
Naivasha, Nakuru, Bogoria and Baringo, with night birding at Baringo.
- Days 13–15
Western Kenya
Kongelai, Saiwa Swamp, Mount Elgon and three sessions in Kakamega.
